The warning shot from a bunch of supposedly terrible people has paved much of the way towards medical and pain relief access for everyone. The Gentlemen Smugglers paid for this with incarceration. I’m not saying they didn’t have a good time. But they also did time.

One of those legends is our guest, we have hit the Operation Jackpot with Barry Foy, nicknamed, Flash. It's all detailed in the bestselling book, "Jackpot: High Times, High Seas and the Sting that Launched the War on Drugs by Jason Ryan. From the 1970s until the early 90s, Barry and his boys were marijuana trafficking pirates. They always worked under the premise that no one was to be hurt or killed. Sure they partied, but only after worked hard to bring back cannabis from all over the world into the United States.

Turns out Canadian Senators aren’t at all that well researched. As Canada’s cannabis bill moves through Parliament, you just can’t believe their reefer madness of 2018. And a mysterious pharmaceutical kingpin death, may be tied to his apparent notion to use cannabis to make “pot pills”. Evidently, that fake stuff is bad for you.

Avarice at the helm. Again we update the latest canna news. A March madness that involves no basketball - the latest series of Canadian government contradictions and conundrums. For example, the Feds claim they’ve done all the possible research, and claim they have nowhere near enough research available and need to know more. Stupidly, that did not hold them back from drafting punitive archaic legislation nearly a year ago.

We leave the discussing of purely medical and recreational advancements from cannabis, to focus on the productive and creative abilities of the mind. Chris Griswold teaches improv classes in New York City and beyond if you care to contact him – he travels to your down – and explains working through his ADHD and anxiety issues, using their in here and qualities as helpful tools rather than limiting binds.

Chris – who remains ungreen while teaching, organizes his class around participants/actors after their brief indulgence in the herb. After 20 years teaching without it, he verifies this experiment has opened up noticeable, successful results.

I wanted to explore where Marcus situated both mentally and spiritually before and after he wrote the book. He shaes how its revelations have impacted his life. We also discuss what seems a far more sensible means at eliminiation or seriously reducing, from harder, addictive substances.
